Child Assessment Card

Note to Parents

This assessment report will help you understand your child's learning and development needs. The assessment card will help you to find out how your child is developing in terms of her / his age, what she is able to do well and where she may need further help and support. The assessment of your child's learning and development is to be done once in every three months.

Note to Anganwadi worker

  • Understand if your pre-school curriculum is effective and responsive to the needs of all the children.
  • Plan a more developmentally appropriate and need-based curriculum.
  • Identify children who may have special abilities or special needs for which they need additional support.
  • Provide parents with information on their child's progress, to be discussed during parent-teacher meetings; they can help parents understand what further needs to be done to support their child's learning and development at home and in the Anganwadi Centre.
