State After Care Home

Scheme

<h3>Brief objective</h3>
<p>Children who have been released from children's homes after completion of 18 years of age and have not completed their education/ skill education are placed in the State After Care Homes till the age of 21 years.</p>
<p>There are two State After Care Homes established at Amritsar for girls and at Ludhiana for boys.</p>
<h3>Benefits</h3>
<p>1. Vocational and educational services.</p>
<p>2. To fulfil the basic needs of children: food, clothing, shelter, education, medical aid and free boarding &amp; lodging etc.</p>
<h3>Eligibility</h3>
<p>The Children who are in need of care and protection can take benefit from the scheme.</p>
