Introduction Dulari Kanya Scheme was launched by Arunachal Pradesh Government on 15-08-2016. The main objective of government behind launching this scheme is to stop child marriage, to ensure institutional deliveries and to reduce infant moratality rate in State. This scheme is implemented by Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Financial Assistance will be provided in the form of fixed deposit at the time of birth of girl child. Government will issue a Fixed Deposit Certificate of Rs. 30,000/- under Dulari Kanya Scheme. This amount was Rs. 20,000/- earlier, but has been increased to Rs. 30,000/- from the year 2025. Additionally there is new benefit added in Dulari Kanya Scheme in which one time monetary assistance of Rs. 20,000/- will be provided to girl beneficiaries when she takes admission in Class 11th. Amount of Fixed Deposit Certificate issued under Dulari Kanya Scheme can be claimed when girl child passes class 10th and attains the age of 18 years. Girl can cash this FD when she attains the age of 18 years and passes class 10th. Rs. 20,000/- Financial Assistance when Girl takes admission in Class 11th. Eligibility New Born Girl Children are eligible. Birth of Girl Children should be in Government or Government Recognized Hospital. Only Schedule Tribe Category Families are Eligible. Beneficiary should be Arunachal Pradesh Permanent Resident or have Household Residential Certificate. Two Girl Children per Family are Eligible. Documents requried At the Time of Application :- Hospital Delivery Certificate or Discharge Receipt. Birth Certificate of Child. MCP Card. ST Certificate. Group Photo with Girl Child. Aadhaar Card of Girl Child. (If Available) Parents Aadhaar Card. At the Time of Claiming :- Marksheet of Class 10th. Passing Certificate of Class 10th. Fixed Deposit Certificate. Unmarried Self Declaration. Bank Account Details. Withdrawl Form. Process to Apply Newborn Girl Child Parents can register themselves under Dulari Kanya Scheme by applying through Application Form which is available in the Office of Medical Officer Incharge or Medical Superintendent Office. Fill the Form, attach all mandatory documents and submit it in the same office. Primary Verification of Dulari Kanya Scheme Application Forms and documents will be done by Medical Officer Incharge or Medical Superintendent. Eligible Beneficiary List will then be forwarded to District Medical Officer for further verification. District Medical Officer will then approve the list and forward it to department to issue Fixed Deposit Certificates. This Fixed Deposit Certificate of Dulari Kanya Scheme can be cashed by girl beneficiaries when they attain the age of 18 years and pass class 10th. Claim Process Collect Claim Form of Dulari Kanya Scheme from the Office of District Medical Officer Office. Claim for maturity will only be applicable when girl child attain the age of 18 years and passes class 10th exam. Bank Account in SBI is mandatorily required at the time of claim. Fill the Claim Form, attach all required documents with it and submit it in the DMO Office. District Medical Officer will forward the received claim forms to Department of Health and Family Welfare for verification. After final approval from department, girl child will receive Fixed Deposit Amount of Rs. 30,000/- with interest for 18 years as per bank interest rate under Dulari Kanya Scheme.
