Introduction In a socio-economic survey, which was conducted by the then Chhattisgarh Government, it is to be found that more than 10 lakh families do not have their own houses. To provide support for the construction of the house, the Government launched "Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyaya Yojana in the year 2023. But the Government of Chhattisgarh was changed, and the new government changed the name of this scheme to "Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana". One-time financial assistance in installments will be provided to all eligible applicants for house construction. IP Area Applicants, which is a Hilly and Inaccessible area of Chhattisgarh State, will get Rs. 1,30,000/-, and Non-IP Area Applicants, which is a plain area, will get Rs. 1,20,000/- for house construction. The house should be constructed in a minimum of 25 square meters of area and should have 1 kitchen and bathroom separately. Rs. 12,000/- will be given separately for the bathroom under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Paid work under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) will also be provided to applicants. Process to Apply A person who doesn't have his/ her home can apply for financial assistance for the construction of a house under Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana through the Application Form. Application Form of Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana can be collected from the office of the Gram Panchayat or the Gram Sabha. Take the application form, fill it correctly, and attach all the required documents. Awas Yojana Application Form with all documents will be submitted in the same Gram Panchayat/ Sabha Office.
