Latest Update The Delhi Lakshmi Yojana Portal is now live for online registration and application submission. Eligible women can create an account, complete Aadhaar-based verification, upload the required documents, and submit their application online. According to the Government announcement, women whose applications are successfully verified are expected to receive the first instalment of ₹2,500 on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. How Will the ₹2,500 Assistance Be Paid? Option 1: The complete ₹2,500 will be deposited into a Recurring Deposit (RD) or Fixed Deposit (FD) account. The deposit remains locked for three years and is released after maturity. Option 2: Every month, ₹1,500 will be deposited into the beneficiary's RD/FD account, while the remaining ₹1,000 will be credited to the beneficiary's CBDC (Digital Rupee) Wallet. Applicants selecting a CBDC payment option must own a smartphone to access and operate the Digital Rupee Wallet. The amount deposited in the RD/FD account remains subject to the prescribed lock-in period. The CBDC Wallet balance cannot be used for purchasing prohibited products or services notified by the Government, including alcohol, tobacco products, narcotic substances, lottery tickets, gambling, betting, or other restricted items. Process to Apply Online Process Visit the official Delhi Lakshmi Yojana Portal. Select the "Apply" option on the homepage and click "Register Now" if you are a new applicant. Complete Aadhaar-based registration by entering your Aadhaar Number, name, date of birth, gender, and captcha. The portal verifies only Aadhaar cards linked with a valid Delhi address. Registration will not proceed if Aadhaar authentication fails. After successful registration, note your Registration ID and create a password. Log in through the Citizen Login Portal using your Registration ID and password. Answer all eligibility-related questions displayed on the portal. Fill in personal details exactly as available in your official documents. Add the required family member details for verification. Enter your Aadhaar-linked bank account information along with the IFSC code. Select your preferred payment option (RD/FD or RD/FD with CBDC Wallet).
