Introduction Ganga Swaroopa Arthik Sahay Yojana was launched by Gujarat Government in 2019. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial support to widows who face financial difficulty. Earlier the name of this scheme was "Vidhva Sahay Yojana" and the financial assistance to widow woman was Rs. 1,000/-. In 2019, Gujarat Government renamed scheme to "Ganga Swaroopa Arthik Sahay Yojana" and the amount of pension was also increased to Rs. 1,250/-. Women and Child Development Department is the implementing department of this scheme. Widow Woman of age more than 18 years and less than 50 years are eligible to get widow pension of Rs. 1,250/- per month under the scheme. Benefits Monthly Pension of Rs. 1,250/- per month to all Eligible Widow Woman. Eligibility Only Widow Woman Applicant are Eligible to Apply. Widow Woman should be a Permanent Resident of Gujarat. Age should be more than 18 years and less 50 years. Annual Family Income should be :- Rs. 1,20,000/- in Rural Area. Rs. 1,50,000/- in Urban Area. Widow women who got remarried are not eligible. Widows with a son who is 21 years of age and above is not eligible under the scheme. Documents Ration Card Husband Death Certificate Birth Certificate or Voter ID Family Income Certificate Passport Size Photo Bank Account Details Aadhaar Card Process to Apply Collect Application Form of Ganga Swaroopa Arthik Sahay Yojana Application Form from Mamlatdar Office in Rural Area and from Village Computer Entrepreneur (VCE) in urban areas. Fill the Application Form and attach all the required documents. Submit Form and Documents in the same office. List of Selected Widow Women Beneficiaries will be sent to Department of Women and Child Development after initial verification. After final approval, Selected Widow Beneficiary will get monthly financial assistance as pension of Rs. 1,250/- directly in their bank account.
