Introduction The Gujarat Government started the Kisan Parivahan Yojana in the year 2020. The main aim of the government behind starting Kisan Parivahan Yojana is to help farmers of the state financially so that they can purchase goods vehicles to transport their agricultural goods. This scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Government's Agriculture, Farmer Welfare and Co-operation Department. Gujarat Government will provide a subsidy to all eligible farmers to purchase lightweight medium-sized vehicles with having 600 kg to 1500 kg load capacity, which they can use for agricultural purposes. Purchased Vehicle under Kisan Parivahan Yojana will strictly be used for transportation of agricultural goods; no other use of the vehicle is permitted. The farmer cannot sell the purchased vehicle for a minimum of 2 years after purchase, and no modification is allowed in the vehicle. Benefits Subsidy to purchase a lightweight medium-sized Agricultural Goods Vehicle. 35% Subsidy of Vehicle Price or a maximum of Rs. 75,000/- (whichever is lower) will be provided to Small, Marginal, SC, ST, and Women Farmers. 25% Subsidy of Vehicle Price or a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- (whichever is lower) will be provided to General Category or other farmers. 20% Subsidy or maximum Rs. 30,000/- (whichever is lower) will be provided for the purchase of tractor trailer. Process to Apply Kisan Parivahan Yojana Online Application Form is available on the Ikhedut Portal of the Gujarat Government. Beneficiary Farmers will have to register themselves first. Login with Mobile Number and Password or through Mobile OTP. Type Kisan Parivahan Yojana in the search bar and click on Apply. Fill in all the asked details in the Online Application Form of Kisan Parivahan Yojana and upload all the documents. Submit the Application Form and take a printout for future reference. Purchase the medium-sized agricultural used good vehicle from an authorized dealer. Submit the Application Form along with documents and the vehicle purchase bill to the office of the District Panchayat or the District Agricultural Officer's Office. Verification of application and documents will be done by the officials of above mentioned offices, and the subsidy under Kisan Parivahan Yojana will be directly transferred to the bank account of the eligible selected farmers.
