Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana

<h3>Introduction</h3>
<ul>
<li>Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana and <a href="https://schemes.vikaspedia.in/viewcontent/schemesall/state-specific-schemes/welfare-schemes-of-gujarat/namo-shree-yojana?lgn=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Namo Lakshmi Yojana</a> are the major educational welfare schemes of Gujarat Government.</li>
<li>In the year 2024, Gujarat Government launched Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana.</li>
<li>The main objective of this scheme is to encourage students to take science as a subject after passing class 10th board examinations and make their career in the field of technology.</li>
<li>Education Department is the implementation agency of the scheme.</li>
<li>Yearly Scholarship will be provided to those students who take science as a subject in Class 11th after passing Class 10th Examination with minimum 50% marks.</li>
<li>In the time span of 2 years (Class 11th+Class 12th), each eligible students will get a total scholarship of Rs. 25,000/- under Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana.</li>
<li>Students will get Rs. 1,000/- per month for 10 months in Class 11th and Rs. 1,000/- per month for 10 months in Class 12th.</li>
<li>Remaining scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- will be provided to students after they successfully pass Class 12th Board Examinations.</li>
<li>Annual family income should be less than Rs. 6 lakh to apply for this scholarship of Gujarat Government.</li>
<li>Students can contact their school in case they need any help regarding Namo Saraswati Vidyan Sadhana Yojana.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Benefits</h3>
<ul>
<li>Yearly Scholarship will be provided to Class 11th and Class 12th Students.</li>
<li>Students will receive Rs. 10,000/- in Class 11 and Rs. 15,000/- in Class 12.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Eligibility</h3>
<ul>
<li>Science Stream Students of Class 11 and Class 12 are Eligible.</li>
<li>Minimum 50% Marks in Class 10 is mandatory.</li>
<li>Family Annual Income should be less than Rs. 6 Lakh.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Documents</h2>
<ul>
<li>Aadhaar Card.</li>
<li>Bank Passbook Copy.</li>
<li>Family Income Certificate.</li>
<li>Aadhaar Card of Parents.</li>
<li>Mobile Number.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Process to Apply</h2>
<ul>
<li>Nodal Officer appointed by School Administration in which student is studying will fill the application form on behalf of students.</li>
<li>Students will have to submit all the necessary documents as and when asked by school administration.</li>
<li>Submission of Copy of Aadhaar Card and Bank Passbook is mandatory.</li>
<li>Nodal Officer will then forward the list of eligible students to Education Department for disbursement of scholarship amount under Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana.</li>
<li>Scholarship Amount will directly be transferred to the bank account of student.</li>
