Introduction Namo Shree Yojana was launched by Gujarat Government in the year 2024. The main objective of this scheme is to ensure that every pregnant women and lactating mother of state get proper nutritional support and also encourage them to have institutional deliveries. . Women and Child Development Department of Gujarat Government is the implementation agency of the scheme. Each Pregnant Women and Lactating Mother will get Rs. 12,000/- under Namo Shree Scheme. This scheme will cover the expenses from conception to delivery of the child to a women beneficiary. Registration under this scheme will be done at the time of first ante natal check up. It is mandatory to deliver child in any government or private hospital. With this scheme beneficiary women are also eligible to avail the benefit of other central government schemes like Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and Janani Suraksha Yojana.
