Introduction Gujarat Government launched Vahli Dikri Scheme in State on 02-08-2019. Government's main objective behind starting this scheme is to encourage girl students to complete their secondary and higher secondary education and pursue further for higher education. This scheme is implemented by Women and Child Development Deparment of Gujarat Government. Government will provide financial assistance to girl child in 3 stages to support them financially in their education. A total of Rs. 1,10,000/- will be provided to eligible girl childs under Vahli Dikri Scheme. Benefits will be provided to only two live girl childs per family. Application Forms are available in Women Child Development Department District Office, Collect it, Fill it and submit it to avail the benefit financial assistance for education under Vahli Dikri Scheme. Benefits Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,10,000/- will be provided to Girl Child in 3 Stages. Rs. 4,000/- will be provided when Girl Child takes Admission in Class 1st. Rs. 6,000/- will be provided when Girl Child takes Admission in Class 9th. Rs. 1,00,000/- will be provided when Girl Child pursue Higher Education after passing Class 12th or getting married. Eligibility Girl Child born after 02-08-2019 are Eligible to Apply. Families Annual Income should be less than Rs. 2 Lakh per year. 2 Girl Child per Family will get Financial Assistance under this scheme. Documents Resident Proof of Gujarat. Aadhaar Card of Girl Child. Recent Passport Size Photo. Family Annual Income Certificate. Bank Account Details. Birth Certificate. Process to Apply Collect Application Form of Vahli Dikri Yojana from Anganwadi Kendra or from District Office of Women and Child Development Department. Fill it, attach all the required documents with it. Submit it in the same office from the application form was collected. Concerned Officials will verify the receieved application form and documents and publish the list of selected girl child. Selected Girl Child will then get financial assistance of Rs. 1,10,000/- in 3 stages under Vahli Dikri Scheme.
