Introduction Maharashtra Government started Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana in the year 2024. The main objective of this scheme is to provide relief to low income group families from increasing price of LPG Cylinders. Also government aims to promote to use of green fuels for cooking purpose. This scheme is implemented by Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection. Government will provide 3 free of cost domestic LPG gas cylinders to all eligible families. Beneficiary Women of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana are eligible to get benefits of Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana. Only domestic connection holders are eligible, no commercial gas connection holders are eligible. Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana of Maharashtra Government is a subsidy scheme in which beneficiary women will have to purchase the LPG Cylinder at its original market price. Within 1 month after the purchase, the complete amount of subsidy will be transferred in the Aadhaar linked Bank Account of Beneficiary. Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana Women Beneficiary will get the whole amount of Gas Cylinder refunded. However, beneficiaries of PM Ujjawala Yojana will get Rs. 300/- from Central Government and Rs. 530/- from Maharashtra Government as subsidy. Benefits Domestic LPG Cylinders will be provided to Beneficiaries Free of Cost. Beneficiaries will get 3 LPG Domestic Cylinder per Year. Eligibility PM Ujjwala Yojana Beneficiary Families. Domestic LPG Connection must be in Women Name. Benefits will only be provided on Domestic 14.2 Kg LPG Cylinder. Beneficiary Women of Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana are also Eligible. This is a subsidy scheme so beneficiaries will have to purchase the Gas Cylinder at its original price.
