Introduction The Telangana government introduced a housing initiative, known as the Indiramma Indlu Scheme. This welfare program has been designed to help economically weaker families realize the dream of owning a permanent home. Through this scheme, the state aims to provide safe and dignified housing to people who are either landless or living in temporary and unsafe shelters. Under the scheme, families who already own land will receive financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh for house construction. Those who do not have any land will be provided both a housing site and Rs. 5 lakh for building a home. Additionally, Telangana movement activists will be entitled to a 250 square yard plot under this program. To ensure transparency, the government conducted a state-wide survey and released the beneficiary list on 23 January 2025 through the Official portal Around 18.32 lakh people were identified via the Indiramma Indlu Mobile App. Implementation will take place in phases, with 3,500 houses sanctioned in each assembly constituency during the first phase. Eligibility To receive benefits under the scheme, applicants must fulfill the following conditions :- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana. Both landless families and poor families owning small land are eligible. Priority will be given to people living in temporary shelters. Online Application Procedure Visit the nearest Praja Palana Kendra to fill the Online Application of Indiramma Indlu Scheme. Request the operator to fill the Indiramma Indlu application form. Provide correct personal, family, and income details. Submit scanned copies of required documents. Verify all information before final submission. After submission, an SMS confirmation will be sent.
