Introduction Government of Telangana started the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme in the whole of the State on 17-03-2025. The main objective of this scheme is to support unemployed youth financially so that they can start their own self-employment activity. This scheme is basically started for Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Backward Class, Economically Backward Class/ Economically Weaker Section, and Minority Community unemployed youth. Respective Category Corporation will implement and monitor this scheme in Telangana. Subsidized loans up to Rs. 3,00,000/- will be provided to all eligible youths under this scheme for self-employment. Unemployed youth can take a loan to start a business in any of the below-mentioned sector :- Animal Husbandry. Agro-Based. Agriculture. Industrial Service Business. Transport Sector. Horticulture. Minor Irrigation. Petty Units. Registration of Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme is opened for a defined duration by the government in the Official Portal. The Loan Sanction Letter will be distributed to selected beneficiaries. Benefits Assistance up to Rs. 4 Lakh to Start Self Employment Activity. Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme is a Loan-cum-Subsidy Scheme. For Loans up to Rs. 50,000/- :- 100% Subsidy. For Loans from Rs. 50,001 to Rs. 1,00,000/- :- 90% Subsidy and 10% Bank Loan. For Loans from Rs. 1,00,001 to Rs. 2,00,000/- :- 80% Subsidy and 20% Bank Loan. For Loans from Rs. 2,00,001 to Rs. 4,00,000/- :- 70% Subsidy and 30% Bank Loan. Vulnerable Groups will get a Loan up to Rs. 1 Lakh, in which 90% is a Subsidy and 10% will be provided from EMF. There will be a 100% Subsidy in Minor Irrigation Self-Employment Activity. Eligibility Permanent Resident Unemployed Youth of Telangana are Eligible. Unemployed Youth should belong to any one of the social category :- SC. (Schedule Caste) ST. (Schedule Tribe) BC. (Backward Class) EBC/ EWS. (Economically Backward Class/ Economically Weaker Section) Minority. Youth should be Unemployed at the time of application. Annual Family Income should be Rs. 1,50,000/- in Rural Area and Rs. 2,00,000/- in Urban Area. The age of the Applicant should be 21 to 55 years for Non-Agricultural Scheme and 21 to 60 years for the Agricultural and Allied Sectors. Documents Passport Size Photo. PAN Card. (Optional) Food Security Card. Ration Card or Income Certificate. Aadhaar Card. Details of Bank Account. Caste Certificate. Process to Apply Visit Official Portal of Yuva Vikasam Scheme. Click on "Click Here to Application Form". Choose the Corporation Name as per Applicant Category. Fill Name, Aadhaar Number, Food Security Card Number. Choose Beneficiary Type Individual, Select Type of Assistance, Select Sector in which the youth wants to start self-employment activity and select the scheme name. Click on Go and fill in other details like address, education, and family details. Upload a recent passport-size photograph. Review the Application Form and submit it. Selected Unemployed Youth will get assistance up to 4 lakh as a bank-linked subsidy scheme for self-employment activity. Applicant can also apply for this scheme through the Offline Application Form, which can be collected from Mandal Praja Palana Seva Kendralu.
