Introduction Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana is launched in Tripura in 2020 with an objective to empower students digitally. This scheme is implemented by Information Technology Directorate of Tripura Government. Students will get Rs. 5,000/- Grant to purchase smartphone for their studies. It is a remimbursement scheme in which Students will have to purchase the smartphone first in their name or that of their parents. The students will then have to apply under Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana for reimbursement of Rs. 5,000/-. Benefits will only provide on a condition of producing valid GST Bill of Smartphone which is duly signed by Principal or Head of the Institution.
