<h3>Introduction</h3>
<p>The Mukhyamantri Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Yojana is a health protection scheme launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on <strong>8 July 2026</strong> to provide cashless medical treatment facilities to teachers, education personnel, PM Poshan workers, and their eligible dependent family members. The scheme is implemented through the <strong>State Agency for Comprehensive Health and Integrated Services (SACHIS)</strong>.</p>
<p>Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries can avail cashless hospitalisation treatment of up to <strong>₹5 lakh per family per year</strong> at government hospitals and empanelled private hospitals. Treatment is provided through a Health Card-based system, ensuring beneficiaries receive medical care without making upfront payments for approved procedures.</p>
<p>The scheme covers various categories of teaching and non-teaching staff associated with the Basic Education Department and Higher Education Department. Beneficiaries are required to register online and obtain a Cashless Health Card to access treatment benefits under the scheme.</p>
<p>Health Card registration has been opened for eligible beneficiaries, and approved applicants can download their cards online after successful verification and e-KYC completion.</p>
