Introduction Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme was launched in the year 2021 in whole of West Bengal. The objective behind launching this scheme is to uplift the socio economic status of women of state by providing them monthly financial assistance. This scheme is implemented by Women & Child Development and Social Welfare Department of West Bengal Government. Monthly Financial Assistance is being provided by West Bengal Government under Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme to all eligible women. Women Beneficiary whose age is between 25 years to 60 years are eligible to apply. Once women attained the age of 60 years the benefit will be transferred to Old Age Pension Scheme of West Bengal Government. Application Forms are available on Duare Sarkar Camps. Contact District Welfare Office for any help or assistance required. Benefits Monthly Financial Assistance is being provided to Eligible Women Beneficiaries. Rs. 1,200/- per Month to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Categry Women. Rs. 1,000/- per Month to Other Category Women. Eligibility Women Applicant of Age between 25 Years to 60 Years. Only Permanent Resident of West Bengal are Eligible. Beneficiary Recieving Regular Salary or Pension are not Eligible. Women Applicant should not be a Retired or Permanent Employee of State or Central Government. Documents Swasthya Sathi Card. Aadhaar Card. Caste Certificate. Bank Account Details. Mobile Number. Self Declaration. Passport Size Photograph. Process to Apply Duare Sarkar Registration Number, Swasthyasathi Card Number and Aadhaar Card Number is mandatory at the time of applying for Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme. Application Form can be collected from Duare Sarkare Camps or can be Downloaded from Here. Fill the Application Form, Attach required documents and submit it in the camp. An Acknowledgement Reciept will be issued to applicant women. BDO/ SDO will enter the details of eligible women beneficiary on Lakshmir Bhandar Official Website. District Magistrate is the final authority to gave approval for monthly financial assistance. After approval, the monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1,200/- to SC/ ST Women and Rs. 1,000/- to other category women will be transferred to the bank account of women beneficiary.
