<h3>Introduction</h3> <ul> <li>Taruner Swapna Scheme popularly known as Taruner Swapna Prakalpa was started by West Bengal Government in the year 2022.</li> <li>The main objective of this scheme is to connect studies of students with technology.</li> <li>Government of West Bengal will provide financial assistance to selected students to purchase smartphones or tablet pc.</li> <li>Rs. 10,000/- financial assistance under Taruner Swapna Scheme will be provided to selected students under this scheme.</li> <li>With this amount, student will have to purchase smartphone or tablet pc for their study and submit the reciept of purchase in their concerned school.</li> <li>Those students are not eligible to apply whose family annual income is more than Rs. 2 lakh per year.</li> <li>According to government data, more than 3.67 crore students purchased smartphone/ tablet pc from Taruner Swapna Scheme financial assistance.</li> <li>School will list the selected students and forward the list to education department through Banglar Shiksha Portal.</li> </ul> <h3>Benefits</h3> <ul> <li>Financial Assistance to Students to Purchase Smartphone or Tablet PC.</li> <li>Students will receive Rs. 10,000/- to purchase Smartphone or Tablet PC for their Study.</li> </ul> <h3>Eligibility</h3> <ul> <li>Class 11th and Class 12th Students of West Bengal.</li> <li>Annual Family Income should be less than Rs. 2 lakh per year.</li> <li>No Backlog in Previous Exams.</li> <li>Student should be studying in Government, Government Aided, Government Sponsored and Government Recognized Madrasahs.</li> </ul> <h3>Documents</h3> <ul> <li>Student Aadhaar Card.</li> <li>Income Certificate.</li> <li>Bank Account Details.</li> </ul> <h3>Process to Apply</h3> <ul> <li>Concerned schools will apply for Taruner Swapna on behalf of eligible students.</li> <li>School will upload all the details of students on <a title="External website that opens in new window" href="https://banglarshiksha.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Banglar Shiksha Portal.</a></li> <li>Selected Students will then financial assistance of Rs. 10,000/- in their bank account.</li> </ul> <h3>Contact</h3> <ul> <li>Contact Administration Department of your school.</li> </ul>
