National Narcotics Helpline ‘MANAS’ (Madak Padarth Nishedh Asuchna Kendra) is an initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs. It aims to establish a user-friendly platform for every citizen to conveniently report drug-related matters 24x7 and also addresses a range of issues regarding drug-related matters including drug trafficking, illegal sale / purchase / storage / manufacturing and illicit cultivation of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances. MANAS is operated by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Services offered Report/Inform - Drug addicts, informers, and citizens can communicate their issues or complaints related to drugs through the MANAS service for addressing their matters with respective stakeholders. A toll-free 24x7 telecom service to drug addicts, informers, and citizens seeking support and information. Provides information about the appropriate support services, government schemes, and programs available to drug addicts, informers, and citizens affected by drugs, in particular situations within the local area in which they reside or are employed. Provides integrated support and assistance to drug addicts, informers, and citizens affected by drugs or drug users, both in private and public places under one roof through the concerned Helpline Centre.
