Despite progress, systemic barriers and biases remain, necessitating efforts to break stereotypes, foster inclusive environments, and support women's advancement in science and technology.

<p>The National Youth Festival in India is an annual event celebrating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a youth icon. It is being celebrated since 1995.</p>
<p>&nbsp;In 2025, the festival was restructured as the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) to align with the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision.</p>
<h3>About the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue&nbsp;</h3>
<p>The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue is a programme organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs &amp; Sports in collaboration with the State Governments on various themes. Renowned speakers &amp; the youth icons are invited to share their views, experiences and interact with a selected and invited group of NSS Volunteers drawn from different parts of the country. The festival brings together young people from across the country for various competitive and collaborative activities.&nbsp;</p>
<h3>VBYLD 2027</h3>

<p>The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue is being held during January 10-12, 2027 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Youth in the age group of 15-29 years (as on 1st September, 2026) would be eligible for participation in various tracks of VBYLD-2026.</p>
<p>The details of various tracks of VBYLD-2026 are as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li>Viksit Bharat Challenge Track</li>
<li>Cultural Track</li>
<li>Innovate for BHARAT - Design for BHARAT, Hack for Social Cause, Youth Entrepreneurs Challenge</li>
<li>Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament</li>
</ul>
<p>The District-level activities will commence on 1st September, 2026 with competitions under the Cultural tracks, continuing through State-level competitions in November-December, 2026 and culminating in the National Youth Festival in January 2027 in New Delhi.</p>
