Apply for Civil Marriage Certificate

A civil marriage is one where the marriage ceremony has a government or civil official performing the ceremony rather than a religious leader. Civil ceremonies are performed at the marriage registrar's office.

Documents required

• Application Form – 6 nos.
• PP sized photographs – 4 each
• Birth Certificate of bride & groom
• Residential Certificate/COI/SSC/ any other Certificate to prove nationality and residential address
• Death Certificate in case of widow/ widower
• Degree/Order from competent court in case of divorce
• Panchayat Report
