CyberSafe is an application developed jointly by FCORD (Fake Indian Currency Notes Coordination Group (FCORD)) of Ministry of Home Affairs and the private sector with the objective of making the digital payment eco-system safe and secure; enhancing the faith of the common man in the platform; and assist law enforcement agencies in resolving and preventing all such crimes.
FCORD, in association with several private technology partners, has developed a pilot application, CyberSafe as an infomation-sharing platform between Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and Fintech entities.
To develop a real-time information sharing platform among LEAs and FinTech entities. The vision of the platform was to create a centralized repository of fraudsters’ credentials to meet the mission of one SIM, one account, one fraud, no more!
All the participating entities of CyberSafe will have access to this database who will eventually block these credentials on their platforms to prevent further using the same credentials.
A monthly report is released in the platform on the incidents reported.
