Digisaksham is a public-private initiative to upskill the jobseekers for better employability across India. The initiative is a collaborative effort of Ministry of Labour and Employment and Microsoft.
It aims to upskill the workforce of India through free training courses on select Information Technologies (IT). The project will substantiate the government’s ongoing efforts to protect the interests of youth, specifically from rural and semi-urban cities, by up-skilling them to enhance their employability skills.
The courses are short-term trainings conducted regularly in an online mode. The course instructor interacts with the students and provides students with the course material and recorded classes. Students have to appear for an evaluation test after completion of the course. After successful completion and obtaining passing marks, the students are awarded a certificate.
